President IAP, Ar. Zulfiqar Ali, met with the newly elected President of ARCASIA, Ar. Saifuddin Ahmad, on January 25, 2024, during President IAP’s visit to Malaysia. They discussed significant issues in architecture, emphasizing the global role of architects and the importance of improving education and professional practices worldwide.

President IAP Ar. Zulfiqar Ali also proposed giving architects access to ARCASIA to understand its role globally and how to positively contribute. He emphasized the importance of building international pressure collectively to raise awareness about ARCASIA’s significance and unite architects’ voices for positive change.

Ar. Zulfiqar Ali suggested concentrating on inducting architects into higher authorities, promoting architectural education, and providing opportunities for young architects to contribute not only to IAP but also to ARCASIA, UIA, and CAA.
