The Institute of Architects Pakistan Lahore Chapter (IAP-LC) organized its annual event ‘IAPEX 2019’ from February 15 – 17, 2019. The event, convened by Ar. Maira Khan and co-convened by Ar. Umar Saeed and Ar. Faisal Riaz, was held at the Lahore International Expo Centre. Attended by architects, designers, planners, academia, social and environmental scientists and experts from related disciplines, the theme for this year’s IAPEX was ‘Lahore Urbanised’.

The annual event of IAPEX 2018 was inaugurated by the Honorable Prime Minister of Pakistan Mr. Shahid Khaqan Abbasi. State Minister for Information, Broadcasting and National Heritage Ms. Marriyum Aurangzeb was also present on the occasion. With President IAP Ar. Ali Zafar Qazi, Ar. Maira Khan, Honorary Secretary IAP-LC, Convener IAPEX 2018 and Ar. Faisal Riaz warmly welcomed the Prime Minister and introduced him to the various activities of the IAPEX including Building Materials Exhibition,
