The National Council deals with matters pertaining to the Federal Government and its agencies and liaises with the Pakistan Council of Architects & Town Planners.
As a member, it deals with the International Union of Architects, the Commonwealth Association of Architects, the Architects Regional Council Asia and the South Asian Association of Regional Countries Architects amoung other international bodies and professional associations.
The National Council maintains a register of all members, collects fees and subscriptions through the Chapters and maintains the accounts of the Institute.
